COVID-19: The Dr. Peter Center and its Response to COVID-19
As a health facility, the Dr. Peter Centre takes the risks and containment of COVID-19 very seriously. Stringent clinical protocols and safety measures are in place to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 amongst the clients we serve. We are and will remain vigilant in doing everything possible to protect our staff, our participants and the community.
We are in daily contact with the Provincial Health Officer, the BC Centre for Disease Control and Vancouver Coastal Health, monitoring the situation very carefully. Our doors are still open, and we are doing our utmost to maintain our high standard of care for our participants and residents.
The Dr. Peter Centre is putting prudence first, and focusing on the information, science and evidence about COVID-19 the moment it is presented to us. In the meantime, we remain calm and measured through these changing days, and continue to provide the best care possible to our participants and residents.
